Dawn
Dawn, film d’espionnage de 1928 sur Edith Cavell (Sybil Thorndike ) infirmière britannique, fusillée en 1915 pour avoir aidé des soldats alliés à s’évader de Belgique occupée. Le film fut censuré pour sa représentation brutale de la guerre et son sentiment anti-allemand. Malgré les critiques, il remporta un grand succès lors de sa diffusion.
