En 2020, durant le confinement, Lucrecia Martel retourne dans sa région natale du Salta, au nord de l’Argentine. Là-bas, elle suit la chanteuse de tango Julieta Laso qui rejoint une communauté d’artistes féministes et dissidentes réunies au cœur de la forêt. De ce récit hors du temps émane une sororité puissante, un antidote aux angoisses dans un monde bouleversé.
