Biographie
Sigourney Weaver (née le 8 octobre 1949, 1,80 m) est une actrice américaine surtout connue pour son rôle d'Ellen Ripley dans la série Alien, rôle pour lequel elle a reçu une reconnaissance mondiale. D'autres rôles notables comprennent les films Ghostbusters, Gorilles dans la brume, The Ice Storm, Working Girl, Death and the Maiden, Prayers for Bobby et Avatar. Elle a été nominée trois fois aux Academy Awards pour ses performances dans Aliens (1986), Gorillas dans la brume (1988) et Working Girl (1988) qui a remporté les Golden Globe Awards dans ces deux derniers films. Weaver a été surnommée « La Reine de la science-fiction » par beaucoup en raison de ses nombreux films de science-fiction et de fantaisie.
