Biographie
Sir Christopher Frank Carandini Lee, dit Christopher Lee, né le 27 mai 1922 à Belgravia et mort le 7 juin 2015 à Chelsea, deux quartiers de Londres, est un acteur britannique. C'est l'un des acteurs britanniques les plus prolifiques avec plus de 225 films à son actif. Il est également célèbre pour sa polyvalence artistique : acteur, producteur, orateur, musicien, chanteur, et même photographe. En 1958, il est révélé au cinéma grâce à son interprétation légendaire du comte Dracula dans une série de films produits par les studios britanniques Hammer Film Productions. Depuis, sa haute stature et sa voix de basse lui ont valu d'interpréter principalement des personnages inquiétants : il est apparu dans de nombreux films d'épouvante, sans se limiter au genre. En 1974, il incarne le méchant Scaramanga dans le film L'Homme au pistolet d'or de la saga James Bond,. Il est aussi familier de l'univers de Sherlock Holmes. Après avoir été sir Henry Baskerville dans Le Chien des Baskerville, il interprète trois fois le célèbre détective, ainsi que son frère Mycroft dans La Vie privée de Sherlock Holmes.
