Biographie
Ian McKellen, né le 25 mai 1939 à Burnley (Lancashire), est un acteur britannique. Actif tant dans le théâtre classique et contemporain qu'au cinéma, il est également connu pour son militantisme en faveur des droits des personnes LGBT. Malgré une carrière plutôt éclectique, il est surtout connu du grand public pour le rôle de Gandalf dans les trilogies Le Seigneur des anneaux et Le Hobbit de Peter Jackson, ainsi que pour celui de Magnéto dans les films X-men.
