Christopher Reeve
Biographie
Christopher D'Olier Reeve, dit Christopher Reeve, est un acteur, réalisateur, producteur et scénariste américain né le 25 septembre 1952 à New York et mort le 10 octobre 2004 à Mount Kisco (État de New York). Il est notamment connu pour son rôle du super-héros Superman dans plusieurs films entre 1978 et 1987, et celui du milliardaire Lewis dans Les Vestiges du jour (1993) de James Ivory. Sa carrière s’interrompt brutalement à la suite d'un accident d'équitation en 1995 qui le rend tétraplégique. Par la suite, son combat pour l'amélioration de la vie des personnes tétraplégiques, via la fondation Christopher-et-Dana-Reeve, devient exemplaire.
