Biographie
Shaun Mark Bean, plus connu sous le nom de Sean Bean, est un acteur britannique de cinéma et de télévision, né le 17 avril 1959 à Sheffield, au Royaume-Uni. Après avoir été diplômé de la Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, il fait en 1983 ses débuts professionnels au théâtre avec Roméo et Juliette. Conservant son accent distinctif du Yorkshire, il trouve une notoriété grand public pour son interprétation de Richard Sharpe dans la série télévisée Sharpe. Il recueille davantage de reconnaissance pour celle de Ned Stark dans la série médiévale-fantastique Game of Thrones, ainsi que pour ses rôles dans les séries Accused et Henry VIII. Son rôle au cinéma le plus important est celui de Boromir dans la trilogie de films Le Seigneur des anneaux. Il prête également sa voix à des jeux vidéo ainsi qu'à des publicités.
